Spice up your summer with this Hot Pineapple Relish recipe

Instead of boring old dill relish this summer, try spicing and sweetening things up with this fantastic recipe I whipped up for our Fourth of July festivities! It’s great as a topping for burgers or hot dogs, in salads, or as a dip.

If you try it, I’d love to hear how it went over at your cookout this year. So let me know in the comments below!

Hot Pineapple Relish

How to prepare:

Pineapple relish

1 – 1.5 cups of pineapple chunks
Teaspoon of salt
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 a jalapeño, finely diced
Teaspoon of cayenne
Teaspoon of cumin
Teaspoon of turmeric
Drizzle of olive oil

Garnish with cilantro (optional)

Put all ingredients into a food processor and lightly pulse until pineapple is a solid pulp, and all components are mixed. Throw some cilantro on it, and enjoy!

Great warmed up or cold as a relish on your grilled (or raw) delicacies!
